with your eyes of liquid pistachio green

they are jewels and pools or the rarest emeralds..
...slithering caiman gems...
these orbs of jungle and river and razorslate skies

with your dusty dark coat and your icy blue eyes
that you remind us
of their true deepest bluest depths
ice cavern - glacial
the oceanic lechuguillas of soul's very demise

with your blooming long hair and hazel-strange eyes
that you remind us
brown copper verdigris and gold
your flashing young eyes bring solace to our soul
we can never know everything
